Flew down to Michael’s strip on a cold and dreary day and Michael, a buddy and awesome kids were waiting with the hangar door open and ready to get my Rans S-7 in for a much needed tuneup on the new to me Rotax 912UL. I was pretty vague when talking to Michael about just what it was that I wanted done but his sharp eyes caught a lot of things that I was missing and gained me LITERALLY 15-20 mph on my return trip home solely from getting the 912 running right again. Granted I bought a bit of a project but Michael was more than patient with me, teaching me as he worked and gave me lots of tips for when I returned home.
I look forward to my next visit to STOL creek, Michael, his awesome hangar home, and family!
